Our Customer MCISE and the Scope of Work

Today we had the announcement of our subteam, the assignment to our local client and the introduction of our Scope of Work. I was so excited and could not wait to get more information about our work in Rabat!

For the project work in Morocco the twelve SAP colleagues are split into subteams of three people each. This is my team: Janet Brewer from the USA and Marek Garbos from UK will work together with me. After our first calls over Skype, I am really looking forward to work closely with these two. Together we will support the local client MCISE (Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship).

They describe themselves as "a not-for-profit dedicated to finding entrepreneurial and innovative solutions to every social challenge in Morocco. It was founded in 2012 by a group of 17 people enthusiastic about social change in Morocco. We believe that supporting social entrepreneurs with system-changing ideas can provide benefits for Morocco and the wider global community."

If you are interested, more information about MCISE can be found on their homepage.

Finally, we also learned about our project task when being abroad. The project title in short is "DARE Impact Assessment and Financial Sustainability". DARE Inc. is "a three-track" incubator "program that aims to support social entrepreneurs from the moment they decide to tackle a social issue until they incite systemic change by means of a viable startup".

In detail, we will focus to assess the impact of the Dare Inc. program, including needs profiles from Marketing, Business Development, and Sales, in order to evaluate the program. This will likely include interviews with social entrepreneurs, the team, and actors from the ecosystem. Based on this assessment and research, we will provide precise recommendations to the MCISE team.

We also had our first introduction call with Marwane from MCISE. It was so much fun to listen to his ideas and really experiencing his excitement and passion to work for a good cause and help all the people in Morocco. Really inspiring and contagious. The more I get to know about our task the more I am looking forward to the work and collaboration with MCISE and all other parties.

Stay tuned.
